Rev. Matt Myck has pastored, serving Christ and His people for almost 30 years by the grace of God. He and his wife Jennifer have raised four sons while serving the Hillside congregation in Almonte.
Matt was raised in the Ottawa area and received his bachelors of religious studies at Tyndale University in Toronto where he began to embrace reformed theology. After being being taken under care as a student in the St.Lawerence presbytery he received his seminary training at Ottawa Theological Hall being mentored by various pastors like Dr. Richard Ganz and Rev.Ken Smith.
Pastor Matt has coached the local High School football team for 20 yrs , caught a few fish to brag about and loves his morning coffee.

Rev. Matt Kingswood is the founding pastor (1997) of the Russell Reformed Presbyterian Church in Russell, Ontario, just outside of Ottawa.  After undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Guelph and Classics at Carleton University (B.A.), Matt received his theological training at Ottawa Theological Hall and Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (M.Div.). His pastoral internship was served at Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church in Belfast, Northern Ireland, under Rev. Prof. Edward “Ted” Donnelly. Matt and Tara were married in 1991, in Dorchester ON., where Tara’s father served as pastor.

Rev. David Matthess was trained for the ministry at Westminster Seminary UK, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and served as an associate pastor for Bury St. Edmunds Presbyterian Church for a year before emigrating to British Columbia to take up the pastorate in Vancouver RPC.

Rev. Dr Andrew Quigley was raised in the Irish RP Church, and did his seminary training at the RP College in Belfast. He was awarded his Doctor of Ministry degree by the RPTS in Pittsburgh in 2018. Having served as a minister in Airdrie RPC, Scotland, for 24 years, he is now the minister of Ottawa RPC in Canada. He serves in several capacities within the RP Church in Canada and is Chair of the RP Global Alliance Advisory Committee.

Rev. Dr. Stivason is a gifted preacher and teacher and a compassionate shepherd and has been serving the Lord as a minister of the gospel since 1995. During that time, he has planted two churches, the most recent one being Grace RPC in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, which formally constituted in January of 2010. He has a BA from Grove City College, an MDiv from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, an STM from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia). He also serves as Professor of New Testament Studies at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Rev. Vince Ward completed a BHSc at the University of Ottawa in physiotherapy in 1998. In 2004, he graduated from Ottawa Theological Hall. He served as a missionary pastor with RP Global Missions in South Sudan (2006-2015). Since returning to Canada, he has served in various capacities in missions, primarily as a mission consultant in training missionaries and indigenous church planters. He is the adjunct professor of missions at RP Theological Seminary. He graduated with a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree at RPTS in 2025. He is currently the provisional teaching elder of the Beckwith RP Church. He serves as the academic dean of the RP Seminary of Canada.

Dr. David Weir

Church History

Dr. David Weir serves as a ruling elder in the Ridgefield Park, New Jersey Reformed Presbyterian Church.  At the Reformed Presbyterian Seminary of Canada, he teaches courses in the History of Christianity and in biblical geography.  He began teaching at RPSC in 1985 when it was Ottawa Theological Hall (OTH).  For 35 years he taught a variety of history courses at Centenary University in New Jersey (1987-2000) and Alliance University in New York (2000-2022), where he was named Emeritus Professor of History in 2020.  He holds a B.A. in English literature from Haverford College (1980), and completed his graduate work in the history of Christianity with an M.A. from Princeton University (1983), a Ph.D. from the University of St. Andrews (1984) and a Ph.D. from Princeton University (1992).  In 1981 he completed the short course in biblical history and geography at Jerusalem University College in Israel.  He is the author of two books on the theme of the covenant and the practice of covenanting in early modern European and colonial American church history.  He is married to Bonnie and is the father of four children.  As of 2025, he and Bonnie have eight grandchildren.
Rev. Scott Wilkinson

Rev. Scott Wilkinson earned a BA in Philosophy from Arizona State University in 1992 and an MDiv from the Reformed Presbyterian Seminary in 1995. Ordained in 1995, he served as Pastor of Walton Reformed Presbyterian Church in New York from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, he was sent by the St. Lawrence Presbytery of the RPCNA to Kitchener, Ontario, to plant New Creation Reformed Presbyterian Church, where he has served as pastor since. He taught Old Testament at Gillespie Academy from 2010 to 2025. Married to Elineke since 1995, they have six children and currently five grandchildren. They both practice martial arts and hold first-degree black belts in Gōjū-ryū karate. Rev. Wilkinson also enjoys building guitars and writing and recording music in his free time.
